I am pleased with the many functions included with this device. Being battery powered, it is handy when I am away from my normal workspace.
1) Of all the scopes I've owned throughout my years, they all had an option to toggle the scopes inputs to ground. This scope doesn't offer that option.
2) I've noticed when I press the keys/buttons Cursor/Display/Measure/Math/Trigger/Menu, the same top section is displayed. I realize when pressing any one of those listed above provide the options on it. That's five hard buttons/keys, where they could have just one key, then the operator chooses which function they want. Kind of like what the 'MENU' button is labeled for.
3) FNIRSI could have had those BNC connectors a little further out, making it easier to connect/disconnect the scope probes BNCs
4) Don't understand why they have the DDS lighted up all the time. I don’t think it was absolutely necessary. I guess it's just for the technician to see where it's at.
User Guide for probe frequency compensation - how do you adjust trimmer? Where and how is the trimmer adjustment made?
A great unit for DIY electronics hobbyist. Compact, well-made and easy to use. Function buttons and touch screen function makes it one of my best tools. Integrating the oscilloscope, sig gen and multimeter is a most useful design. I've not found anything I don't like, and after a bit more serious use should be quite at ease with it.
