I received my 60mhz Fnirsi signal generator. I have used it quite a bit and so far I am pretty happy with it. I personally like the small form factor but I understand that some people may not because you obviously can't stack other test equipment on top of it. The touch screen is very convenient to have. Truth be told at first I didn't realize that it did in fact have a touch screen. I was using the knob and found it a little inconvenient. Then I read the instructions!
The waveforms in my testing are quite stable and frequency is accurate. I am using this for electronics repair and testing. I would recommend it especially for a hobbiest or technician.

I have been using the TSG6020 on my test bench for about a month and results are very good. This model has an excellent range of features, with both channels offering full capabilities operating independently or phase locked. Output amplitude can be calibrated for a wide range of load resistance allowing accurate setting in dBm.
Accuracy is quite good with output amplitude within 1% at 100 mV at 10 MHz. Frequency is within 6 PPM at 45 MHz with drift less than 1 PPM per 24 hours. Frequency stability is very good when compared against a GPS controlled counter.
I've been looking for a signal source with the features and range of the TSG6020 features for a while. The TSG6020 is better than I expected.

Sig Gen received with its nice set of accessories. It has intuitive menu's and after a little practice it's easy to use. Although limited use so far, seems to do all I require of it. There is a good range of modulation waveforms to select from too.

I have been working on a rack of FSK tone generators and discriminators from the early 1950s. All germanium transistors and leaky electrolytic capacitors, it's an exercise in patience. I needed a tone generator that could do the FSK part independently of the stuff I am working on and that I could set and forget. Along with one of my FNIRSI small battery powered oscilloscopes, the TSG6020 made a great solution and lets me test every single box in the rack as well as testing the remote end some 20 miles away down a telephone line. I did have to build a small transformer set to give me the signal isolation I needed for the telco end, but this was a far easier solution than building my own test set entirely from scratch, not to mention far less work for me. What I especially like is the ability to see where the passband edges are and not have to rely on setting only the centre frequencies and hoping the filters are still on frequency and not off to one side.
I have a small suite of the FNIRSI offerings and am delighted with the value point and field utility. The right tool for the right job!
