I bought the HS-02A soldering iron and the 2D15P oscilloscope; they are very well made—I highly recommend them.

This is my first oscilloscope and I'm planing on using it for automotive and appliance troubleshooting. So far, my only complaint is how unintuitive it's been simply reading a range between 5-12V, having to fiddle with the multipliers and not being able to see the range values directly on the screen. You know, like regular graph paper? Here's 0, here's 12. Certainly shouldn't be hard to display on a digital screen. Maybe I just haven't found the option for it yet.
A nice GM tube -- and in the Geiger-Müller world, size matters when it comes to sensitivity.
As GM counters go, it has a slow-ish reaction time compared to a scintillation counter, but is generally better at detecting weaker sources (such as beta and Röntgen rays (a.k.a. X-rays)). Since one can expect to encounter weaker sources like uranium glass or uranium wall tiles, thorium, etc, a GM-counter is usually a more reasonable choice unless you expect to encounter gamma ray sources.
Although the device claims to be a le to detect alpha rays, it cannot. To do so, the tube would have to be fully exposed as even the tiny plastic window dissipates alpha rays.

A great tool, but on the multimeter there is an issue with the AUTO measurement, which in my opinion it should be disabled by a firmware update. I’ve connected the multimeter to the output of a small flyback SMPS power adapter 6.5V, 500mA and it damaged it.
I think it tries initially to measure resistance instead of DC voltage resulting in a short circuit.
Other than that it’s really a great tool.
I bought my meter after using a workmates meter and liked the ease of its use. I am monitoring a lime stone wall and like this non destructive meter

Love the bright screen, it’s a good size, price is unbeatable. Not had a lot of time to give it a good try out before being pressed to leave feedback as usual. Kinda think the screen won’t last long in my toolbar like my fluke stuff but let’s see how it goes being rechargeable and stuff. Feel a bit like a mobile phone and I wouldn’t leave that in my toolbag but in a less rugged environment I’m sure it’s going to be a capable tool.

After an initial problem and some difficulty getting to the right department regarding my initial complaint, I have now received a replacement HS-03 10Watt soldering iron. The replacement works well for electronic assembly tasks but lakes enough guts for soldering the brass and steel parts that I use in my model making work. However I was sufficient pleased with the iron to invest in its bigger brother the DWS-P2 100Watt version.
In standby mode this unit provides up to 8 hours use, maintaining the standby tip temperature at 100C and this raises the working temperature in a few seconds to as high 400+ C. and maintains this temperature when the bit is applied to the work piece. How long the battery supply lasts is very dependent on your usage but I have now been using the two soldering irons for over a month and I am very pleased with the result. The range of bits is particularly useful and they are quick and easy to change. I feel that I can recommend this product, it is very portable and appears reliable in use.
