GC-03 is a multifunctional radiation detector, a professional instrument for measuring nuclear radiation, mainly used in various occasions such as home, office, car, outdoor environment, etc. It uses a 2.4-inch high-definition color screen and supports real-time monitoring of nuclear radiation, electric field strength, magnetic field strength, etc. The meter supports three alarm modes: sound, vibration, and light.

Very cool instrument!
Easy to use.
I uploaded a custom firmware to it so the menu appears in my own language and it makes the clicking sound when measuring radiation like a professional detector!

Excellent dosimeter and EMF detector. My only comment would be if it had a screen timeout function but then remained on in the background. It is quite battery hungry but detection is good. I tested it with a Thorium gas mantle which is a source of Thorium-232 and low beta emission and it showed a good reading. Having a Geiger Muller tube it is far superior to the cheaper alternatives.

I have the GC-03 and updated firmware to version 4 however, screen brightness level maximum may even be dimmer than it was previuosly. I would like just a little bit more brightness than what I'm allowed. Please note: brightness is brighter in this photo than it actually is, phone camera has compensated and is making it look perfect, if this was the actual brightness this would suit me just fine but it is less than half what you see here in all actuality.

Nice equipement. Does exact what is promissed. Meter and alarm levels are easy to set. All over also an easy to understand menu by pictogrammen.

A nice GM tube -- and in the Geiger-Müller world, size matters when it comes to sensitivity.
As GM counters go, it has a slow-ish reaction time compared to a scintillation counter, but is generally better at detecting weaker sources (such as beta and Röntgen rays (a.k.a. X-rays)). Since one can expect to encounter weaker sources like uranium glass or uranium wall tiles, thorium, etc, a GM-counter is usually a more reasonable choice unless you expect to encounter gamma ray sources.
Although the device claims to be a le to detect alpha rays, it cannot. To do so, the tube would have to be fully exposed as even the tiny plastic window dissipates alpha rays.

Great little piece of hardware!

Good afternoon. I've been using the device for 2 weeks. What I would like to change or add:
1. A sleep mode for the screen to extend its lifespan.
2. The ability to adjust the schedule time (1-60 minutes, the total time since the device was turned on).
3. The accumulated dose should be reset instead of being reset automatically after the device is turned off.
4. The Alarm record does not record the time, only the date of the incident.

but magnetic field detector not very sensitive and not susceptible to alternating field, my recomendation to FNIRSI is to comlete the description with this detail to avoid possible misconception with future customers, thx
